We deal with fake service dogs every time we are out and it can cause my dog to get distracted even though he is trained to ignore them he is not a robot. And it can lead to a medical alert being missed. When there is no danger to Colt I do take it as a opportunity to keep up with his distraction training since it’s gonna happen no matter what I do. Sadly where I live the fake service dogs are really bad. I post the laws so you can be educated if you do not already know and to show that by law these dogs are not service dogs or service dogs in training. Service dogs would be in a heel and not be jumping, growling or braking. Service dogs in training have to be completely obedience trained before they are even in public.
